Why Is Qore Exclusive To The US?
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t like having to spending money to unlock extra features. But what I dislike more than having to cough up the cash is missing out. Us Brits, as well as the rest of Europe, are disconnected from the Qore community. When I first heard about Qore, I didn’t think that much of it, it seemed like a small, meaningless feature.
However, episode two has recently been released, and here are the features included in the most recent episode:
* Resistance 2 – The big cover story for this issue is Insomniac’s upcoming PS3-exclusive FPS. Bonus! You get to see host Veronica Belmont don a mo-cap suit just for this game.
* Silent Hill: Homecoming – A look at Konami’s upcoming horror game.
* Madden Twenty Year Retrospective
* Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm – Exclusive first playable demo.
Everything there, apart from the Madden retrospective, I want. I want to be able to hear about the latest Resistance 2 news. I want to see Konami’s upcoming Silent Hill. I want to play Naruto. I want to see Veronica Belmont in a mo-cap suit.
What I don’t understand is why it’s only out in one region. I mean it’s not as if the US speak an alternative language to the UK. So what’s the problem?
Come on Sony, give us Qore!
What do you guys think of the situation? Are you as eager to try out Qore? Or have you already purchased Episode 2 and wish to give us your thoughts on the product? (try not to make me jealous please!)

Where’s the problem? Get a US account and purchase it, I did, and I’m from Germany…
Did you use an Entropay account? If you did, that’s way too much hassle for something as simple as this. It’s also about the principle. The US Store is significantly better than the UK Store. Why? We both speak the same language, so there are no language barriers to worry about. It’s about time both stores became equal.
You not missing out on anything, its a waste of money… If you get Game Informer your fine.
Just blame it on our government, they are backwards and always will be. Most people in the british government think of games as being for kids even though at the present moment gaming is about the only thing keeping the economy from dropping of a cliff.
this will create a two tier PSN, those that are willing to pay for the privilege in order to get access to the so called ‘exclusive’ content first. Therefore creating a two tier system of the haves and have nots. Can’t help but think this is just Sonys way of getting around the fact that they stated the PSN would be free. But there will always be people who will lap this crap up. So they can get signedd up for open betas etc. Sponges.
The USA can keep it. (IMHO)
I’m sure the videos will leak onto youtube with no issue. Don’t waste your monday.
