Warhawk Cheaters Face Bans and Stat Wipes
That kind of internet-dweller who cheats their way through online games is a kind nobody else wants to associate with, really. Nothing wrecks your multiplayer experience than some git who keeps popping up through walls to shoot you in the face everytime I you wander past.
As if internet-social-rejection isn't bad enough for cheaters, Dylan Jobe has issued a warning via the ever-useful Twitter:
'Warning to all Warhawk "Cheaters" -- SONY is cracking down so for those of you that cheat, you are risking a Ban *and* a stats wipe.'
So, cheaters, you have been warned. You are being hunted down, your stats will be wiped and you will be banned - presumably from PSN. Which is bad. Well, it's bad for the cheaters, anyway, it's a good thing for the rest of us.

Surely it's more rewarding to earn the points properly and build your stats and rank up without cheating? wtf is wrong with these people anyway -_-

I also play warhawk a lot... a couple of days back I was looking at the stats of a player, and on the most points per round stat, he had a round with more than 30.000 points.... It took me months to get that amount of points.... damned cheaters....
I really doubt that they'll ban someone for doing something like that once or twice. It's more likely to be something that really affects a match, like invisible tanks or growing a nuke out of your left ear.

Well.. it's about time they are banning cheaters and hackers.. But are they stat wiping and banning people that like do a glitch on close corridors.. like the double jumpm glitch? Can you please tell me if they are banning people who are doing the double jump.. Because i'v done it like twice and thats it.. though. i didn't know how I did that.. so please tell me.. but i only did the double jump like twice.. so.. Thank you for your time and support! :] :)
I would like to know how someone can shoot you like 3 times with a machine gun, you have full health, and you die. Or how someone can hit me with a rocket launcher 1 time in a plane with full health and they kill me. How does this happen? How can some people kill you so fast? I have been in games as soon as I respawn I dont have a chance I die
To answer your question Spector..it comes down to lag which is determined by your ping. To you it seems you get shot down by RPG after having full health..but another plane could've shot a couple swarmers at you before the RPG hit you..it's quite common. You also don't always hear the missiles hit because of sound not responding due to peoples different pings etc. Likewise the same with mgun kills on the ground..the person or persons shooting you have thrown a grenade which takes health but you only see and hear a couple mgun shots. I don't cheat and never will, but from a legal standpoint, can they ban you for cheating? These are just glitches in the software that people are taking advantage of? I could see if you were running a glitch through a save game or something, that might be considered hacking, but are glitches covered in the agreement you said ok to when you create an account? Or is sony just using the, "we can ban you at any time for any reason we deem fit" arguement. I figure they should be officially warned first. I remember all those people back in Resistance 1 that kept going off map, and they didn't get banned from PSN in general. That rediculously harsh for exploiting a glitch in the game. why don't they just put out a patch or something?
