Uncharted Trophy Walkthrough
The allure of the first PS3 Platinum trophy has kept me glued to Uncharted since the new trophy update. That said, the only trophies that I need are the ones where you have to complete the game on different difficulty levels. Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune contains a total of 48 Trophies: 1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 8 Silver and 36 Bronze. Here’s how I got mine:
General Tips:
- Here is one of the best tips I can give you for these trophies – use checkpoints to your advantage. By this I mean: sometimes there are only two or three locations in the entire game where it is possible to pick up a certain trophy. There is usually a checkpoint before each “perfect area”, and once you have contributed to the trophy you are trying to achieve, you die and then respawn at the checkpoint, allowing you to repeat the action until you have the desired trophy. Dying will not reset the attempt to get the trophy.
- Cheats (or in-game rewards) do not affect trophies, therefore you can use them. (Although they may be disabled for Crushing difficulty level.)
- Always go for headshots. You will be contributing towards the headshots trophies, and you will save ammo, allowing you to get more kills with that gun and therefore achieve the weapon specific trophies.
- If you complete the game on hard, you will also get the easy and medium trophies, and unlock crushing difficulty.
- Do as many trophies as possible on easy difficulty if you are struggling.
Specific Trophy Tips:
Platinum (Platinum) : Platinum
- Collect every other trophy in the game.
First Treasure (Bronze) : Find one Treasure
Beginner Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find five treasures
Novice Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 10 treasures
Enthusiast Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 15 treasures
Intermediate Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 20 treasures
Skilled Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 25 treasures
Proficient Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 30 treasures
Advanced Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 35 treasures
Professional Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 40 treasures
Senior Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 45 treasures
Expert Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 50 treasures
Crack Fortune Hunter (Bronze) : Find 55 treasures
Master Fortune Hunter (Silver) : Find all 60 treasures
Relic Finder (Bronze) : Find the Strange Relic
- To achieve all of these treasures, I used this fantastic treasure location list, which has pictures and videos for those harder-to-reach-and-easy-to-miss treasures.
Brutal Brawler (Bronze) : Kill five enemies with a brutal combo (square, triangle, square)
Brutal Slugger (Silver) : Kill 20 enemies with a brutal combo
Brutal Expert (Silver) : Kill five enemies in a row with a brutal combo
-The easiest way to get Brutal Expert is to kill everyone that jumps on the boat in the first Chapter using the brutal combo. The other two “Brutal” trophies can be achieved by just playing normally through the game and using the combo when there aren’t many enemies left to kill. If you are still stuck, this video may be of assistance.
Stealth Attacker (Silver) : Kill 20 enemies melee-attacking from behind
- Here is one of those trophies where you need to use the checkpoints to your advantage. Get to the bit in chapter 4 where you are just after the plane crash. Then, you will see an enemy with a shotgun get stuck in a wooden trap. And after that there is a platforming section. The perfect area is after the platforming section. Just run up to the man with his back turned, hit square, then run off the cliff. Repeat until you have the trophy, because you will respawn just before the target man. I used this video for help.
Steel Fist (Bronze) : Kill five enemies with a single punch, after softening them up with gunfire
Steel Fist Expert (Silver) : Kill five enemies in a row with a single punch, after softening them up with gunfire
- You should get both of these at the same time as it’s quite pointless to go for each one individually. The best way to do it is to get to a place where there is a respawn point just before where you meet some enemies. This video shows a good one. Then, the gunslinger combo (square, R1, square) 9 times out of 10 will always kill the enemy (or the weaker ones at least). Use checkpoints to your advantage if you are struggling.
Headshot Expert (Bronze) : Kill five enemies in a row with headshots
10 Headshots (Bronze) : Kill 10 enemies with headshots
30 Headshots (Bronze) : Kill 30 enemies with headshots
100 Headshots (Silver) : Kill 100 enemies with headshots
- You should get all, if not, most of these in one play through. If you struggle with Headshot Expert, just solely attempt to go for that trophy in Chapter 1, you should get it without a problem if you are playing on easy difficulty.
Dyno-Might! (Bronze) : Kill three enemies with one explosion
Expert Dyno-Might! (Bronze) : Kill three enemies with one explosion five times
- The best area for this is near the end of Chapter 4, just after half of the wooden traps. Jump up onto the small ruin in the middle of the wooden traps. Pick up the grenade launcher on top of it. Aim towards the bottom of the second tree in the area where the first wave of enemies comes down. Wait for them to start to come through the trees, then fire and you should kill three of them. Use this video to help. Then die and use checkpoints to your advantage.
Run-and-Gunner (Bronze) : Kill 20 enemies by shooting from the hip (without aiming with the L1 button)
- This one is relatively straight forward on easy difficulty. What I did was wait until an area had only a couple of enemies left, then run up to them with a shotgun which should take them out easily, or run up them with a pistol equipped, then hit square a couple of times to soften them up, then use R1 to fire from the hip.
Grenade Hangman (Bronze) : Kill 10 enemies with grenades while hanging from a ledge
Hangman (Bronze) : Kill 10 enemies by shooting while hanging from a ledge
- The perfect area for both of these trophies is the waterfalls area in Chapter 4. When the guy with the extremely explosive van comes, hang from the ledge just below. Shoot him then the barrel/Throw a grenade in his van, then die and use checkpoints to your advantage to get each respective trophy. This video explains also.
Survivor (Silver) : Kill 50 enemies in a row without dying
- This can be a challenge. Be warned, platforming deaths will also reset the counter as well as deaths from getting shot. Luckily, however, ‘Chapter 19 – Unwelcome Guests’ has continuously re-spawning enemies. Once you get to the generator room, kill all enemies and open both switches. Afterwards, the creatures will re-spawn nonstop in the main central area between the switch rooms. Run around the room and the switch rooms to gather ammo and return.
50 Kills: PM – 9mm (Bronze) : Kill 50 enemies with the PM – 9mm
50 Kills: 92FS – 9mm (Bronze) : Kill 50 enemies with the 92FS – 9mm
50 Kills: Micro – 9mm (Bronze) : Kill 50 enemies with the Micro – 9mm
20 Kills: Wes – 44 (Bronze) : Kill 20 enemies with the Wes – 44
20 Kills: Desert – 5 (Bronze) : Kill 20 enemies with the Desert – 5
30 Kills: MP40 (Bronze) : Kill 30 enemies with the MP40
50 Kills: AK-47 (Bronze) : Kill 50 enemies with the AK-47
50 Kills: M4 (Bronze) : Kill 50 enemies with the M4
30 Kills: Dragon Sniper (Bronze) : Kill 30 enemies with the Dragon Sniper
50 Kills: Moss – 12 (Bronze) : Kill 50 enemies with the Moss – 12
50 Kills: SAS – 12 (Bronze) : Kill 50 enemies with the SAS – 12
30 Kills: M79 (Bronze) : Kill 30 enemies with the M79
20 Kills: Mk-NDI (Bronze) : Kill 20 enemies with the Mk-NDI
- If you keep tabs on which ones you still need to get, you should get these trophies quite easily. Try and use alternative guns from the ones that you already have trophies for. You can use weapon select to help once you have completed the game, and using checkpoints to your advantage will also work on these trophies. Watch this video to see how to easily get the sniper trophy, bearing in mind that this technique could be used on any of the other weapons.
Charted! – Easy (Silver) : Finish the game in Easy Mode
Charted! – Normal (Gold) : Finish the game in Normal Mode
Charted! – Hard (Gold) : Finish the game in Hard Mode
Charted! – Crushing (Gold) : Finish the game in Crushing Mode
That’s all the tips I can think of at the moment, if you are still stuck after using this walkthrough and watching the videos then leave a comment and I’ll do my best to help you out.

No problem. We understand just how difficult some of those trophies are!
I wanted to start racking up some trophies, but truth is, you need A LOT of free time to do this and I don’t have it.

I got one question:
if you want the platinum trophy, you have to get all aother trophies. Does that mean that you got to complete the game on all 3 dificulty modes?
No, if you finish it on hard, you get the trophies for finishing the game on easy and medium.
