UK launch on March 23?
Our brothers across the pond can expect to get their hands on PS3 on March 23. According to IGN?s source, the game publishers are lining up to release their games by March 30. Also, Amazon.com is reported to have the console ready to ship by March 30. With the rumors flying around, Sony UK has not confirmed or denied the release date for UK.
A trusted source close to IGN confirmed at least one worldwide publisher is getting its launch games ready for March 30 - although that’s more likely to fit in with the company’s financial year, which ends on that day. However, the smart money’s on March 23, whispered to us by several different reliable sources.
E-tailer Amazon still hasn’t nailed down the console’s release - instead offering a vague “March 2007″ date - but it does have a wide number of launch games pencilled in for March 30. And so the plot thickens.
