Time for Ebayers to break out the lube…

cause some people are going to make it hard for them to sit down for the next few weeks after the *** ramming they receive. What am i talking about? No, not the fact that gamestop cut their pre orders in half, but the fact that there are a lot of people signing up random ebay accounts JUST so they can hike up the prices of the PS3 by huge amounts. The link at the bottom is one example. At one point, that PS3 was going for… can you guess? Go ahead i’ll wait… .. . Nope, higher… .. . Still too low… .. . Closer… If you said $99,999,999.00 then you probably know that this is happening to ALL the ebayers listing PS3’s for sale. Sellers are going to have to start watching they’re bidders very closely for anything fishy or they might end up paying %1.5 of the final sale, and at $99,999,999.00 thats 1.5 MILLION!!! Well, I’m sure ebay will refund the amount… but then again, maybe they won’t. On the other hand, real bidders are willing to shell out over $3,000 easy for a PS3 bundle including as little as 2 games. So if you have a PS3 on ebay, i would keep a VERY close eye on your sale as it nears the 1 minute mark.

  1. Craziness on ebay……i’ve been watching all day, just wishing I had one to sell.

One guy will deliver it by hand in person to anywhere in the US. check it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=190053006713&rd=1&rd=1

That is ridiculuos……damn i wish i got one.

Thanks for the beta on all the recent mayhem.

  2. The sad part about all of this is that the people and kids that really wanted a ps3 could not get a hold of one. I would bet that about 75 percent of the people that got their hands on one have them up on ebay. Is this what this world is coming to. And the people I blame the most for it are the stores, best buy, circuit city, target, and walmart for letting people sleep outside their property for 4 days. When I called the circuit city store in mt laurel nj on monday, they were one of the 6 stores that had 100 ps3 systems and were opening up at 12 midnight they told me that they were not going to let anyone on their property until 9am thursday morning and no campers or chairs. Well when I turned on the news on tuesday that store was on tv with 50 people outside with campers and chairs.

  3. You do realize that the people who are willing to pay $3,000 for a PS3 probably want it more than the kids who didn’t wait in line for it?
