Thexder Now Available for PS3 on PSN

When I saw this, I was super excited. I remember playing the original Thexder on the PC way back in the day. The soundtrack still brings back memories of the 80's and all the bad fashion, big hair and 8 bit gaming!

From Square Enix: Previously released for PSP in October 2009, THEXDER NEO has been released for PS3 via PlayStation Network, Square Enix announced. Originally released back in 1985 from GAME ARTS and regarded by many as a classic, THEXDER is a side-scrolling shooter featuring slick animation, strategic transforming-mech gameplay, and spectacular homing lasers. Now you can experience the original, complete with revamped graphics, a novice mode, six-player online races, and a host of other all-new features.

I saw this yesterday on PSN. I have no idea what this game is (1985 was way before my time!).

Could you make a short review of it or something like that? Most other sites don't review PSN games..... :( (at least the ones that I know of)

Whoa! I never thought I'd hear 'Thexder' again in a news article... and for the PS at that. I think I'm gonna get this... I loved the game back in the day.
