The Resurgence Package DLC for Modern Warfare 2 dated and detailed
The term ‘resurgence’ connotes revival, bringing again into activity and prominence; a renewal of vigour or vitality. Arguably, revival is something Modern Warfare 2 is in need of to combat the ongoing spread of ‘Mapathy’, so it makes perfect sense therefore that Infinity Ward would choose to name the second batch of downloadable content for this contemporary FPS 'The Resurgence Pack'.
However, as the world wasn’t enough for Bond, a name is not enough for us. We want a sneak preview, right? Well, over on GamerSpawn’s YouTube channel IW’s Creative Strategist and Community Manager Robert Bowling gives gamers a glimpse of the new map pack, due to hit Xbox 360 on June 3rd. Though a PS3 date is unannounced, we suspect the DLC will reach us a month later if the release schedule of The Stimulus Package is anything to go by.
Comprising three all-new maps, Fuel, Carnival and Trailer Park, and rehashes of Modern Warfare environments Strike and Vacant, this add-on is looking like a must-buy. But don’t take our word for it; hit this link now and get yourselves excited!
