Ueda and his team are currently hard at work on a top-secret PlayStation 3 game, one that’s yet to hit the “critical period” of development, as he stated elsewhere in the interview.

“I’m not feeling any pressure at the moment because time is not critical yet,” he told the magazine

“Production has not reached the critical stage. The company is very reasonable thanks to my achievements in the past. So, although I do get pressurised, that’s not happened yet [on the current project], and that’s something I feel gratitude for, that the company gives us the opportunity to focus by giving us time.”

“Im working on a PlayStation 3 title,” he added. “That’s as far as I can go.”

If the company’s track record is anything to go by (Ico and Shadow of the Colossus) this is going to be epic regardless of what it is or when its announced.
