We came across a post on VG247.com this morning about GTA V, and word from publishers Take-Two Interactive Software about when we can expect the next chapter in the Grand Theft Auto series.

Unfortunately for us, Take-Two aren’t prepared to disclose anything just yet. Comment came from Company Chairman Strauss Zelnick, founding partner of ZelnickMedia, during a company earnings meeting yesterday afternoon:

‘We’re not going to announce it. We’re not going to announce when we’re going to announce it. And we’re not going to announce the strategy about announcing it or about when we’re going to announce it either, or about the announcement strategy surrounding the announcement of the strategy. Any other questions?’

So Zelnick’s playing his cards close to his chest. Still, if nothing else, he’s a worthy contender for Best Quote of 2009.
