Take Two accepts Electronic Arts buyout

After their most recent failed attempt, Electronic Arts pushed the cards again with a raised offer, with a close date of April 18th. Although the amount was never publically disclosed, it was apparently inviting enough that Take Two’s major share holders have finally agreed to the offer.

Having bought a ps3 mainly for GTA4 , I am very very disappointed.
Future version of GTA 2009 - No guns / swearing/ adult content etc.. But you can buy extra clothes for you character with your credit card.

Ooh, some people actually believed it.
Thats the last time i use this website, it might be april fools but you dont hear any other news channels saying in later news london was hit by a series of tactical nukes in a terror attack today….only joking….You know why, cos people want accurate news every day, not bullshit, i dont care if its april fools, christmas, end of the world, i dont care, I used this website for news i thought was accurate, now ill just go elsewhere. And people who say oh people actually fell for it, so did you until you read the comments so dont go giving that lame statement.

I’m sorry that you weren’t able to appreciate the humour behind story that was revealed to be an April Fools pretty much instantly. There were some much bigger stories out there than this that turned out to be April Fool’s as well.
nos4speed : Yes, it was an April Fool’s joke and yes, people fell for it. That’s the point of an April Fool’s joke. If nobody falls for it, it wasn’t a very good joke. But please do what most people do when they find out they’ve been on the receiving end of a pretty good gag, they laugh at the joke and at themselves and move on. If you want to leave our site because of one joke that got the better of you, I’m sorry but we received a lot of pretty good feedback so it was well received. Hope you come back but if not, game on.
