It would seemed that the roster for Super Street Fighter IV is now officially completed. Probably the oddest addition I have seen to any fighting genre. The new comer, Hakan is big, red-skinned and all oiled up. The last part may creep you out a bit but the latest video trailer shown sees this guy making quick work of various fighters with his unique abilities such as allowing the opponent to slide around his body and directing them out like a slippery human slide. Makes me wanna just start spamming the guy with Hadoken but that's just bad sportsmanship so I will find another way with Sagat.

So now we find ourselves with ten new additions to the Super Street Fighter IV game: Adon, Cody, Dee Jay, Dudley, Guy, Hakan, Ibuki, Juri, T. Hawk and Makato. Each of the fighters are of course in their own right strong but very powerful in the right nimble fingers. Out of these ten, only Juri and Hakan can be considered as new additions of the overall Street Fighter roster. The others have been brought back from some of older entries in the series or from other Capcom games (which reminds me we have yet to see a new cross-over fighter, i.e. Marvel vs. Capcom anyone?)

In any case, here is a quick run down for anyone who doesn't know what Super Street Fight IV will be, it is going to be like an expansion pack and by this I don't mean DLC, as this will be a full retail game but sold at a lower cost (those who wanted to cry out "RIP-OFF!" sit back down please). The producers have hinted that there will be a surprise for those have already who own the original SSF IV. Overall the game looks to have improved itself slightly by adding new Super and Ultra-combos to every fighter and re-balancing some of the existing characters strengths. Not only that we get to see old time favourite stages return; bash-up the car and destroy barrels bonus stages (though I was never good at it when I played). Overall, I think we can expect this standalone title to be a good class act to support its predecessor when it comes at the end of April.
