According to IGN, the games Warhawk and Lair can now be added to the confirmed list of launch titles. The source comes from this month”s PSM interview with SCEA President Kaz Hirai, and VP Jack Tretton, which can be found here. This bodes well for a solid PS3 release lineup, as Warhawk is a SCEA in-house game, and Lair is by Factor 5, indicating steady progress in the game design department by SCEA itself and it”s third-parties. The link from IGN also hints at a third game that may be available for launch, but doesn”t make any mention as to what it is.
In other news, Capcom is planning a simultaneous launch of their new, online Resident Evil on PS3 and 360. The comments from Capcom”s Keiji Inafune, were released in a special edition of Japan”s Dorimaga publications, in time for the 360 launch on 12/10. Further details should be coming with the regularly scheduled Dorimaga later in the month, or early January. More info here.
Christmas is coming early for us PS3 fans I guess, who knows what the remaining 14 days will bring???
