The build-up to the gaming event of the year has officially begun. Sony has launched a website advertising some of the games it will be showcasing at E3 2010, this June.

The website, SCEAinvites.com, is pretty sparse at the moment, with little actual information about the press conference set to take place on June 15th at midday, which is the first day E3 is open to the public, and comes just three hours after Nintendo's conference. The site shows off a few big titles with clear emphasis on the PlayStation Move over traditional titles. After all, four of the six games referenced on SCEAinvites are Move compatible, and with an unofficial (albeit increasingly likely) release date of September, Sony are expected to be building consumer interest on their product and their E3 press conference is the perfect stage on which to draw attention to it.

You can expect the website to be updated over the coming weeks with more details on what Sony plans on unveiling, but you can be sure that the huge exclusives will be kept behind closed doors, before coming out all guns blazing in E3. There are also rumours circulating that another price drop, similar in scale to the one seen with the inception of the PS3 Slim, will be announced but Sony have, as usual, pointed out that they do not comment on speculation.
