Sony to Speak Out about PS3 Slim
Pocket-Lint has reported that Kazuo Hirai, Head of Sony’s Console Division, will disclose information (and hopefully dispel rumours) about the PS3 Slim during next week’s GamesCom conference in Cologne, Germany.
As per our previous post UK Retailers Preparing for PS3 Slim 2009 Release?, we were intrigued by WHSmith’s eagerness to shift PS3s at the reduced price of £200 in order to make room for ‘possible’ new Sony products. If Pocket-Lint’s sources are credible, we could see the trimmer model in stores across the UK and US by Christmas, as suspected.
We’ve even managed to find some interesting images of Sony’s new hardware, courtesy of The-Magicbox.com. However, until official details, pictures or release dates arrive direct from Sony, we advise you to have a pinch of salt at the ready – for now, at least.

I think it’s a great product for a reasonable price!!
Almost all the pics that have floated around look better than the current design. Let’s see what it really looks like after Sony officially announce it on Gamescom next week. For a while, I’ll just read some more reviews about aion online.
Really? I think all of the images floating around ah god damn ugly. The PS3 looks great as it is, but that’s not what a slim version is about anyway.
