Recently, NextGen has released on their website “Sony Games to Watch in 2006″ which includes highly anticipated Playstation 3 games.

Very little is known about I-8, other than it’s an FPS set in an alternate history, during which a war against some kind of mutant horde is taking place. Demo footage indicates large-scale runs against the enemy with a couple dozen soldiers fighting alongside in a dreary environment. Another tidbit we know is that it’s being developed by the creators of the excellent Ratchet and Clank series, Insomniac.

Warhawk

Those well-versed in the history of the 32-bit era remember the original SingleTrac-developed Warhawk. It was one of the first PlayStation 1 titles, and was a ground-breaking 3D combat flying game in which you controlled a unique aircraft with helicopter and jet plane qualities. Incognito, which was founded by former SingleTrac employees, is handling the PlayStation 3 version in hopes of capturing that same sense of awe in a world in which 3D combat is the gaming norm. Judging by the E3 demo which featured dozens of highly detailed warships, Incognito has the right idea.
