Slick new PS Store Interface in April!
The new PlayStation 3 Store “will no longer use the PS3 web browser” according to a Sony source.
“It will cache all images properly and is much faster than the old one,” says the source – so not only will it look slick, it’ll run better too.
The Store “will require everyone to upgrade to 2.30 [firmware],” apparently, though Sony hasnt officially confirmed this yet.
Sony plans to launch it in mid-April however, which means no updates to content until then. The store has been designed with consideration to feedback from the PS3 PAL community, so these changes may effect the PAL regions before anyone else.
Brits getting new stuff first? Madness.
