SingStar Evolves at Leipzig
In true PR-tease fashion the next iteration of Sony’s massively popular SingStar series will be announced at the Leipzig Games Conference. SCEE boss David Reeves even hinted at it being “next generation”, whatever that means means these days…
As any fan of computerised kareoke humiliation will know, SingStar has shifted some series units. Around 15 million in fact if you were watching Sony’s E3 press conference (which of course we all were). On top of that, over 2 million songs have been downloaded from the PS Store since the PS3 version was released. Given various interpretations of Singstar have been announced over in LA this week it will be interesting to see where the series goes next.

I could’ve swore Sony said Singstar was just going to be updated and added to, no more sequels. Ah well, I won’t be getting Vol2 like I was going to then.
