September for LittleBigPlanet?

The building community game LittleBigPlanet might not be released until September of next year…
Originally, it was supposed to be released alongside Metal Gear Solid 4, with a beta being released sometime in December of this year (2007), but apparently that is not the case anymore.
A Sony Representative said “We have not provided a release date for LBP yet. We will be doing so soon.”
I (and many other people) was really looking forward to LBP too, how unfortunate.

Jon, this has been reported on several first-source outlets including Electronic Gaming Monthly and a Sony sponsored European blog. So I’m afraid it’s true =(.
