Dead or Alive

Folks this is a just a rumor so place take this with a grain of salt. According to PSU.com, Team Ninja is creating Dead or Alive exclusively for Playstation 3.

In the most recent EGM magazine, the rumor section contained an interesting tidbit concerning the Dead or Alive franchise. It purported that not only was Team Ninja creating a game within the DoA universe that was coming to the PlayStation 3, but that it would be a PS3 exclusive title.

First Ninja Gaiden Sigma and now this? It seems Team Ninja has had a change of heart in choosing which console they favor this generation.

    I hope it’s true, I got my old xbox in December 2001 just for DOA3. I did not, however, get the 360, and instead I have a PS3 because it’s the only true next-gen console at the moment. I’ve been a long time Tekken fan as well, so we get that on the PS3, but it would be incredible if we had DOA also.

    Of course there’s not going to be a dead or alive game for ps3. Unless Team Ninja decides to re-hire Dead or alive mastermind Itakagi and bring him back, there is no chance you’ll see a Dead or alive game on PS3. The Xbox 360 has both Dead or alive 4 and Ninja gadien 2 on it. So if you want both games from Team Ninja, then you’ll have to get a 360 insend. I sugguest you get a 360 because DoA 4 is clearly the best kickass game I’ve ever played , it’s two times better than DoA 2 and DoA 3. This game is worth buying a 360 for. Don’t belive me? Check out the DoA 4 screenshots for the 360 on-line and prepeare to be blown away by how awesome the game looks!

    There has not been a DOA fighting game in nearly four years. Surely Team Ninja aren’t only planning to take Ninja gaiden multiplat. Its makes more sense to take both series both ways.

    Reguardless of what 360 fanboys say, Dead or alive is owned by Tecmo and Tecmo alone. Even publishing NG2 didn’t help it.

    Every third party game will stab the other console in the back at some point. Its only a matter of time. Tecmo’s main support is for PS3 now anyway.

    Why wouldn’t they make it for PS3?
