PS3 Cheats -- Rock Band
All songs
On the "Press Start" screen, press Red then Yellow then Blue then Red(2x) then Blue(2x) then Red then Yellow then Blue to unlock all songs. Note, you have to do this quickly. Alternately, on the controller, press Triangle, Circle, Square, Triangle(2x), Square(2x), Triangle, Circle, Square. When you enter this code, saving is automatically disabled!
Bonus instruments
Complete the tasks to unlock the instruments. On the left is the instrument, on the right is the task needed for the instrument to be unlocked. Gold drum kit: Successfully finish Solo Tour mode on drums. Gold Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS guitar: Successfully finish Solo Tour mode on guitar. Gold Fender bass: Successfully finish Solo Tour mode on bass. Gold microphone: Get 1,000,000 points on vocals. Silver drum kit: Successfully finish the Bonus Tour in Solo Tour mode on drums. Silver Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS guitar: Successfully finish the Bonus Tour in Solo Tour mode on guitar. Silver Fender bass: Successfully finish the Bonus Tour in Solo Tour mode on bass. Silver microphone: Successfully finish the Bonus Tour in Solo Tour mode on vocals. Transparent drum kit: Reach "Legendary" status on drums. Transparent Fender Bass: Reach "Legendary" status on bass. Transparent Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS: Reach "Legendary" status on guitar. Transparent microphone: Reach "Legendary" status on vocals.

The code works with the controller without having to try drums or guitar. Codes are great help, thanks! And people, quit crying like little girls make sure you are doing thinks right!!!!
Just did the open all songs code on PS3 and it worked after I practiced the sequence a few times and got it done fast enough. And it's awesome! To turn these cheats off, just turn off the system, then back on... it will go back to normal.... If you want all songs again, put in the cheat again... fast.
Thank you all for posting this site. For over a week I tried the original cheat code and I couldn't get it to work. I just tried using the controller as you all stated and I got it on the first try. Straight Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!
the real cheat is yellow, red, blue, yellow, yellow, blue, blue, yellow, red, blue and a box will appear..i promise haha
I cannot get it to work no matter how many times i get it right nothing happened and so i just went on and all my players were deleted! WHAT HAPPENED?!!!!!!!!!
GH is sooo not better than RockBand!!!
i think RockBand is the greatest game made, but im not goin to try these codes
Don't wast your time I have sent a good three hours trying to get all the songs with this cheat.
They can stick it. This is way GH is so much better.

You gotta use the controller.. It will work.... But you must input the code quickly!

ehm....noobs the code works. But put it in with a controller it's much easier with a controller;)
THIS CHEAT WORKS BUT THE ONLY WORKING VERSION IS YELLOW RED BLUE YELLOW YELLOW BLUE BLUE YELLOW RED BLUE. I SPENT AN HOUR TRYING THE OTHER VERSION AND GOT THIS ONE FIRST TRY. HOPE IT'S JUST AS EASY FOR EVERYONE TRYING IT. PEACE!
Figured it out. Just had to scroll down the list past the No Fail box etc and check the appropriate box just like Trish said above.
Okay here's where to find the songs after you've received the Unlocked Songs message. Stay on the screen that you are on and scroll down from the first two options to the bottom of the list. It looks like you cant scroll down but you can. Simply check on the unlock all songs and you are ready to go. You need to do this every time you load the DVD.
go into the start..
go to extras
and codes.
Enter code
Then scroll down to find the option on the list.

Upon enter r,b,y,r,r,b,b,r,y,b I get a note saying I've unlocked all songs. But when I go back into quickplay same sorry songs. WTF?

i found the cheat.. it wasnt from here tho. and i was able to read it slowly from the computer to who ever was in the living room and got it working on the first try

then when u want to turn it off again just uncheck it from the list

The code doesn't work on my PS3 and I know why. I have a Japanese PS3 (O and X are enter and cancel respectively instead on X and Triangle). Circle (also red on drums) enters me into the main menu screen and the cheat is interrupted, so it doesn't work. Anyone has an idea of how this is going to work?
this cheat works on both my 360 and my ps3 just enter it as quick as u can dont give up it will work eventualy
Ok, look so the code to unlock all songs is almost right and is mad easy to remember, insted of red(2x) its blue^^^ THIS IS THE CODE!!!....
Red ,Yellow,Blue...YELLOW(2x) blue(2x) then Red, Yellow, Blue
(to "unlock "ALL" songs). Note, you have to do this moderatly quick. Do this on the main Rockband Screen, You will recieve a note

been trying both codes and i cant make it work.
We want the songs unlocked for a couple of reasons:
1) We bought the game to play the songs, not keep playing the first 8 until we're so sick of them we never want to hear them again!
2) We want to play quickplay with friends, and don't want to have to play 50 sessions of solo play in order for there to be a good selection of songs.

The Red, Yellow, Blue...method works on xbox rock band only. Def doesn't work on PS3
Guys, how do we get this code to work on a japanese PS3 where Circle = confirm and X = cancel ?!?! It does NOT work because you end up changing menus in the middle of code (obviously). I tried switching every circle for an X but still not working.

when i press the circle button or in my case the red button on drums it goes to the next screen.... i can't understand it! it seems my green button is or x is the return button and the red or o is the enter button!!!! is this possible? i cant do the code!

IT WORKS FOR THE PS3 IT IS SO COOL AND U HAVE TO DO THE CODE REALY FAST IT TOK ME AT LEST 10 TIMES TO DO IT.

Okay guys after you unlock all songs you can save, my ps3 saved just fine for me but I had to enter another cheat; there is another cheat, but everyone thinks that there is only one, the one that lets you unlock all songs, but if you seach "extra cheats for rock band" on your computer you'll get the cheat that lets you save after unlocking all songs!!!
It really works alright I did it with a joystick it was way easier
The code for PS3 must be entered on the drums, and it is:
Yellow, red, blue, yellow, yellow, blue, blue, yellow, red blue
You have to enter it on the screen right after the you push start.
Alrighty, yes the code does work. and for those of you asking how to get back to being able to use the save feature again (assuming you havent figured it out on your own), all you need to do is leave the game as far as the "press start" screen. then go back in and you will be okie dokie.
It does work if you do it fast, really fast. And it does disable saving. However, if you restart, you are back at square one, which is good. If you want to open it back up, just put the code in again. This rocks.
