Resistance 3 Will be Set in New York

According to some pictures taken from the set of the upcoming film, Battle: Los Angeles, Resistance 3 is being made and is set in New York. The images contain a billboard with Resistance 3 written on it. The simple existence of the billboard is the proof of the game, and the fact that you can see the Statue of Liberty in the image seems to make it obvious that the game will be set in New York.

We're glad, we liked Resistance 2, it's a great game. All we need now is an official announcement to move this out of rumours. It's practically written on holy tablets right now, but we need an official announcement, regardless.

I thnk it's real. It makes sense for them to start "leaking" information about R3 now. Am I the only one who thinks this was a marketing move by Sony? - and a surprisingly good one at that when you consider all the cock-ups they've made so far this gen.

Considering they have another big release from Insomniac coming up very soon (R&CF: Crack in Time) this is a great way to get people talking and build up the hype for both games.

See? I'm doing it right now....
