Resistance 2 Closed Beta Has Begun - Exclusive (Screenshot included)
N4G.com user “Vicophine” has just given us the latest information regarding the Resistance 2 closed beta. He is in contact with a lucky someone participating in the first person shooter’s initial beta stage. To prove it, he sent PS3Vault these pictures of the user playing the closed beta [NOTE - the code name for the beta is "Girl With A Stick"]:
There’s the proof that the user actually does have access to the beta. “Vicophine” also sent us a picture he received from the user whilst they were in-game, although their excitement about actually being in the beta must have caused their hands to be shaking whilst holding the camera, resulting in the blur. That’s my theory anyway. Take a look for yourself. You can’t see much, but even then it still appears lovely.
I see a sniper rifle, some words at the bottom, maybe hinting towards a mission objective, and it looks like some kind of health bar in the top left corner. Oh yeah, and trees.
If anything else comes up, we’ll be sure to keep you informed. The source has even hinted at a possible video…

I just want to take the time out to let everyone who was allowed into the private beta, know that it is in fact a “PRIVATE BETA” which means you are not allowed to talk about the beta, or leak information outside of the beta to anyone who isnt apart of it. Insomniacs Infected will be checking multiple boards across the internet looking for anyone who breaks the NDA. If we catch you leaking information we will report you to IG directly and opt for you to be banned from the beta permantely.
For those of you wondering and speculating how some got in and how others didnt get in. First off being an annual subscriber to Qore will get you in early to September beta, ATM the list that we were shown on how people got in, Qore had nothing to do with it.
If you already participate in the Home beta that also had nothing to do with it, and sorry to say but not all GAP members were accepted either.
The Infected of MyResistance.net were granted access, as were top members of both official PS forums and MyRes were selected. Then others were just randomly selected.
If you Main account on your PS3 had an invalid email address, has the age under 18, or doesnt allow you to receive information and flyers from Sony then you were delisted.
So for future references, if you want to get selected into Sony betas make sure your over 18, you have those squares check marked, and that you have a valid email address on your main account. Otherwise you will continue to miss out on beta invites.

Won’t be hard to find the leaker now.. Just search the messages that have been sent with that text by users that have that avatar and there you go.
