Ratchet & Clank games are always easy to like, and this one is no exception. Friendly and funny, with the wacky weaponry and varied gameplay that are the hallmarks of the series, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction hits all the Ratchet notes with a well-balanced mix of platforming and gunplay. The weapons are as wacky as ever, the gameplay is as varied as in any game in the series, and the level design is as clever as you’d expect.
