Race Driver: GRiD DLC and Reloaded edition inbound
Codemasters’ blockbuster Race Driver: GRiD, quite possibly one of the best racers on the PlayStation 3 to date in our opinion, is soon to be given the DLC treatment by its developer as a way of providing new content to the faithful GRiD community.
Available on the PlayStation Store from March 11th, a Prestige pack will add the Australian Bathurst circuit to the game’s existing track list, as well as a whopping ten extra cars to drive – one being the fabulous Ferrari F430. All that content will set you back no more than £7.99 / $9.99.
For those yet to experience the brilliance of this title, Race Driver: GRiD Reloaded will be available in stores from March 11th also, which will comprise the original game together with download codes for both the 8-Ball and Prestige add-ons.
Just remember: safety first. Never race without your virtual seatbelt.

This is beautiful, in that fascinating ironic way. Thank you.
the prestige pack is fantastic news and ferraris as well, we really are spoiled. As a PS3 owner iam confused as to how codemasters can put DLC containing ferraris yet EA who made need for speed Shift didn't give PS3 owners their DLC the ferrari pack, they gave the reason that it was to do with copyright and sony ......hmmmmm interesting
Got the DLC on the weekend and had some races with people all over the world on the Bathurst track, great cars great challenging track Thabnks Codies just
It really is a shame that Codemasters won't update any old titles to include trophies.
Just adding a few cars & tracks won't help the game sell. Plus as you can buy Race Driver Grid original in shops for as little as £2.99 It's far cheaper to buy that & then the £7.99 new content than the whole new reloaded edition.
As for why trophies are not being added to any old games I asked them when Trophies first appeared & got a sarcastic email from them telling me they can't be bothered with updating any old titles, the cost is too much & they don't care what we the customers think. It ended with them telling me to stop playing games & go get a life.
Since they don't care about us & their bad attitude to us I decided I will not aid their company ever again & to that end I have only played backup Codemasters games on my 360 since. UP YOURS CODEMASTERS
It's a real shame that a company that started out releasing cheap decent quality games is now run by morons who only care about making money. The actual games come 3rd or 4th in their priorities & we the customers aren't in the top ten. What went wrong????
such a shame that there wont be a patch 4 trophies. so would have platinumed it. haha but then again i would have had 2 start again...
oh well, i so want the bathurst track, wish i had the money. some of the other cars r the lambourghini mercelado and a sweet ass audi.
ahhhhhhhhh... It's just the Mount Panorama circuit...
The man from Codemasters, he say uh-uh to trophies...
...I asked earlier on the official forum. Sad news that, sad news.
I'm actually contemplating whether I would have preferred trophies to new content, not that I'm a trophy whore, however the original 8 Ball DLC was badly implemented. It just doesn't sit well in the game and no one (I know) uses its features online.
Also they could have taken the opportunity to remove the glitched cars and problems like backwards driving, that was dealt with so well in DiRT2.
Oh and get rid of the Euro Championships, the Bridgestone Challenge is better in every way.
Don't want much do I?
Still, if it is the FULL Bathhurst track they are adding, count me in, it's 620 miles long! Can't see that personally, unless I'm getting confused. Anyone interested in the circuit should check out Eric Bana's movie - Love the Beast
P.S. I'm a trophy whore
Even if it doesn't feature trophy support, i'll sure be buying it.
mmm Bathurst 1000 *drools* coz real race drivers can turn left...... and right
@ Alex:
Honestly? We're not sure, but our fingers are crossed! Might be time for us to make a quick call to Codies...
Brilliant news. Will the Reloaded Edition feature trophy support?
