PSU recently had the opportunity to interview Valve in regards to their upcoming Half Life 2: The Orange Box and Team Fortress 2 games.

PSU: What lead you to your decision behind naming the game The Orange Box?

Valve: The primary name comes from the actual box, which contains mostly all of our games in the Half Life series. In addition, you have those few additions such as Portal, and Team Fortress–a class based multiplayer game.

PSU: Can you go into detail about what Team Fortress is exactly?

Valve: Team Fortress is a multiplayer class game, which primarily focuses on exaggerated actions. With the unique style of the actual game itself, we had to create not only a unique look to the game but also a unique play style—which we feel the player can experience well when they get their hands on this game.
