The well known hacker/modder, Ben Heck, has turned his PS3 controller into Xbox 360 controller. The controller uses the Xbox 360 controller?s casing to accommodate the official SIXAXIS controller. The controller is fully functional PS3 controller with USB hook up and motion sensing SIXAXIS function. Go check out the process and watch the video if your interested in this modding.

Personally i prefer the PS3 controller, but Ive never owned an XBOX, so ive always used the PS controller and thats what im used to, im sure if i used the XBOX controller i would probably get the hang of it eventually but i dont like the layout of the D-pad/ Left stick.

Definately looks cool though I probably wouldnt ruin a perfectly good Sixaxis to make one though, but if i had one of the knockoff brands or something i might try it.

that being said, i love the ps3’s controller and this just kinda disgraces the main concept IMO. its perfectly fits my hands; and i’ve got huge hands!

i feel like my hands are balanced with the ps3 controller and i just can’t get that with the 360’s.

I don’t know why eveyone is complaining about the d-pad on the 360 controller… I almost never have to use it outside of option controls in FPS games. The reason why it is more ergonomic is because it is the most symetrical option for games. The face buttons and the left analogue stick are aligned with your thumbs. I grew up with the original ps, and the xbox and I say the controllers for the 360 and ps3 r THE SAME. There is almost absolutely no difference ( 2 me anyway) between the controllers.
