PS3 Trophy card first look..?
This may be a total rumour, but if you take a look at the image it looks real enough – we may be looking at the new Playstation 3 trophy card (or whatever it’s called). Having both an xbox360 and a ps3 I can honestly say I don’t believe achievement add anything to the gaming experience, but hundreds of thousands would disagree with me (they’re wrong of course, but I’ll let it lie).
A blinged up gamercard does not impress me, because gamer points…sorry, “trophies” will always be skewed in favor of the kids with the most cash, and therefore the most games (or, as is the case with the 360, a hacked console — when games are only £2 its easy to rack up a hell of a lot of points just playing tons of different games).
What does appeal to my inner (and mostly outer) geek is that when Playstation Home rolls around (May 2016 now isnt it..?) having your virtual pad decked out with 3d versions of the trophies will be cool…do we all remember that pic of the “Lair” trophy? Oh we were so young and unjaded then.

I hope it tells you what the trophies are for Im more interested in getting trophies that not many other people can get rather than just get as many as possible for doing all the easy stuff. I can see MGS4 having LOADS of trophies which is why im waiting until the trophies come out before I play it for a second time.
I’m with you on the MGS4 trophies, should be quite interesting — I’ve actually given myself a restriction regarding MGS4 — I’m not allowing myself to buy it until I finish GTA4 and Uncharted..oh and Devil May Cry 4 and Burnout Paradise! Damn me for getting a job and a girlfriend!
Warhawk already has trophies(badges, and ranks) inside the game. I guess all that stuff will get exported to the external Sony trophy system?
It won’t be long more before we find out.

i just hope it gets here soon! everything takes sooo long that when it finally gets here i dont even remember what it was i was so excited about
