One doesn't normally think of KMart as the source of hot tips but this incomplete listing shows the PS3 Slim will be available August 24th and will sell for $299 US. A now removed front page promotion stated the PS3 Slim would come with a 120GB hard drive and a dual shock controller. A similar posting has appeared on Sears' website recently.

Hopefully Sony will clear up the msytery at the GamesCon conference in Cologne, Germany sometime this week. We'll keep you posted.
