If you plan to play your old PS2 games on the PS3, you?ll most likely want to buy the PS3 Memory Card Adaptor. The adaptor allows you to use your PS2 memory card or import it to your PS3 hard drive. Most of you will want to transfer the saved data since you can save PS2 games to your hard drive. There have been reports that one or two PS2 games can?t be saved to hard drive. Thankfully, I haven?t had any similar problem. I personally needed this to transfer my saved data from few PS2 games. Everything worked fine without hitch. Only problem I have is that this was not included in $600 machine. I would have liked to seen PS2 memory slot instead of media reader slot. Other than that small complaint, it?s well worth $15 if you still play PS2 games.
