Sega has recently announced that the company will be working on a new Sonic title for the PS3. This project called “Sonic the Hedgehog” will re-claim the top spot as adventure-action game. Furthermore, Sega thinks this title will be a “re-branding” of the franchise that was once adored by many gamers. The new Sonic will draw its inspiration from the original series and again, it will be spearheaded by the Sonic guru Mr. Yuji Naka. This game will push the polygon count to a new level with maximum efficiency as you will see in the screen shots in this page. Mr. Naka said “The “rebirth of Sonic” will offer an unparalleled sense of speed that is only possible using the processing power afforded by the new systems.”
