Japanese magazine Dengeki and Famitsu have scored more information regarding Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. According to the director of Final Fantasy XIII, ?The intensity of the opening scene ? it?s probably the most in the Final Fantasy series so far.? The game starts with invasion of the Cocoon World from the World Below. People in the Cocoon are paranoid of the people from outside of the Cocoon, which is justified by the invasion I suppose. Nomura is still designing characters for the game. For the Final Fantasy Versus XIII, the combat sequence can take in differentiated heights due to PS3?s processing power. Also, the characters can fight aside by side with their own specific weapons and abilities. The battle sequence can make use of environment. The game is likened to Kingdom Hearts.

    That is going to be so cool! Im a major fan of the Kindgom Hearts series and the Final Fantasy! A game with a Story line like FF and the battle system of KH is going to be Krunk! :D

    According to developers of the game, the game is not a sequel nor a prequel to other Final Fantasy XIII entries, but a wholly independent story unfolding with different characters and visual designs. According to Square-Enix, each title takes place in the same universe, but are not directly related.

    The story is that he is the last surviour of the royal family and he is protecting the crystal from the invading armies. When in combat his eyes turn red, and he has the ablilty to summon weapons…. something along thous line just like Lighting in FF13 has the ablitiy to control Gravity in her overdirve. I think the release dates for the UK are 29 Sept 2008 for Final Fantasy 13 but Vs is yet to be released
