Enemy Territory: Quake Wars will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 along with PC according to id Software press release. Two separate developers will helm the console versions. Nerve Software and Z-Axis will work on Xbox and PS3 version respectively. Quake Wars is a team oriented online FPS. Based on the game play of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, the Quake Wars will be set in Quake universe. Players can play as human Global Defense Force or the aline force, the Strogg. Players can choose from multiple class featuring multiple weapons and vehicles. There is no concrete release date for the console versions of the game. Activision is expected to release the game later half of 2007.
