Ubisoft officially announced the upcoming release of Splinter Cell: Double Agent for PS3. It will be released in conjunction with European launch of PS3 in March of 2007. The game is said to incorporate sixaxis motion sensing feature in PS3 controllers. The PS3 version of Splinter Cell will be the last incarnation of the game. The game is expected to support much better graphics than Wii and comparable graphics to that of Xbox 360 version.

“Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent is already a best-seller and has set a new standard for the Splinter Cell series”, said Yves Guillemot (Ubisoft CEO). “I am sure that Double Agent will prove to be a must-have title for PlayStation 3 system.”
