UPDATED: PS3 Flash Player Upgraded As Part Of The FW v2.4 Update
A recent story at talkplaystation.com claims that the Flash player in the PS3’s web browser has been upgraded, allowing users to use a much wider range of websites, including Flash Games and Newgrounds (if you’re on your PS3 now, try the links out for yourself!). Do watch out for the pop-ups their a real pain in the rear end. This, as well as the PlayStation Store update, are two ‘hidden’ updates identified in the latest firmware. If any more are discovered, we’ll keep you informed.
UPDATE: It is suspected that the PS3 now runs version 7.0.25 Flash Player.
Sorry if you are one of those who missed out on the firmware update, looks like you might have to hold out a little longer yet.

All you need to do to get the latest update is:
1. Turn on your ps3.
2. Make sure you’ve got internet access with it.
3.Then with your controller go to “Settings” scroll up to the very top to the “system update” icon and press X.
4.Next click the “update via internet” option. Ta-da as soon as it’s done downloading it will auto-install and auto-restart… Welcome to Flash enabled browsing baby!
