I was finally able to get my hands on the PS3 Dual Charge Adapter from Nyko. I have been putting off buying extra USB cable to recharge my extra controllers in favor of this charger. If you have multiple controllers for PS3, you know the hassle of trying to charge both controllers. I always forget to charge it after Madden marathon. Also, the system would not charge the controllers in idle mode.

This charger solves all of the problems. The charger comes with the AC adapter and 2 USB cables. The cables alone can cost up to $10 a piece. The cables are short 4 feet but that hardly matters when it comes to charging. The adapter has swivel prongs which would make it easier to take it with you on travels. As for charging the controllers, it took close to 2 hours to fully charge both controllers. It wasn?t faster or slower charging on the adaptor. This charger is not PS3 controller specific. This means you can just about charge any device that needs to be charged via USB port. For around $24.99, this is great investment.
