Professor Uses 16 PS3’s as a Supercomputer
OK, we all know the PS3 is a very powerful gaming console. The incredible accuracy as you frag some annoying little twit in COD 4 is evidence enough. But if you want to see that those not yet enlightened enough to splatter brains at 100 meters realize this too, check out how a professor hooked 16 PlayStation 3’s together to form his own supercomputer . Running Linux, the system runs calculations to test out theories about black holes. Now if he could just figure out which black hole sucked all the brains out of 360 owners, we’d be somewhere…

What an idiot. It said in the article that he made a supercomputer with the game consoles which means that its a computer. And also if it can put Linux, of course people will use it as a computer.
