The talented folks at Pixel Junk have just released details for their new title Eden. As we’ve come to expect from the PJ guys Eden looks set to be a curious mix of distinctive visuals and engaging gameplay. To whet your appetites, Dylan Cuthbert from Q-Games spills the beans…

First of all a demo will be available today on the PSN – cheers all round. Secondly, there is detail regarding the YouTube upload feature. Apparently the game features a one-button start / stop record mode that let’s anyone upload their tips and strategies. With any luck it’ll improve the video quality of some clips at least.

Right, on to trophies. Like SSHD, Eden will not have as many trophies available as a full Bluray title such as Bioshock. This of course means no Platinum bling to show off. However fret not, Cuthbert assures us that they’ve crammed in a load of little awards for us all rack up. Early hints at what to expect are a trophy for opening every “seed” in a stage, destroying 500 “prowlers” or collecting 15 “crystals” in one jump.

Since initial screenshots and news first came out about Eden it’s shaping up to be yet another interesting title that will make a fine addition to the PSN portfolio. Download the demo later and see what you think. I know I will.
