So, you think you can prance? Well, the good people at CapCom want to hear, see and sample what you have to say for yourself. They are giving fans an opportunity to appear as a background character in the forthcoming Street Fighter IV.

According to the CapCom blog, “Send us… Whatever (pictures, video, dissertation, limerick, daguerreotype, singing telegram) explaining why you should be in Street Fighter IV. Your reasons can be good or bad, great or small - doesn’t matter. Champion player? World’s biggest collector? Cosplayer supreme? Anonymous, undistinguished weirdo looking for the limelight? All are welcome to make their case.”

If you’re interested, send what your name, age, telephone number, email address and a high resolution photo of your face to contest@capcom.com. The competition closes today (June 16) so you’ll need to be quick about it.

Street Fighter IV will be in arcades this summer with console versions for the PS3 and XBox 360 due out later.
