No Trophy Support in Guitar Hero World Tour

Activision has confirmed that Guitar Hero Wold Tour will not have trophy support. “The PS3 version of Guitar Hero World Tour does not support Trophies,” said an Activision representative. “But Neversoft is planning for them in future PS3 titles.” ’nuff said.

Me too, that was the deal breaker for me. I guess I will have to go to ROCK Band to meet my jammin needs. Quite dissappointed….theres just too many games out there with trophy support that are just as fun and with limited playing time since I work, those are the games that will be in my living room.
To the people above who aren’t gonna get World Tour due to the lack of Trophy support, why on Earth would you not buy a game purely because you couldn’t have a tiny bit of information to tell people you’ve completed it? Is it really worth not buying a decent game purely because of that?

i think its a matter of comparing that to its competitors.
if you look at guitar hero: WT vs. Rock Band 2 and wonder which of the 2 you should get. well GH doesnt have trophies and RB2 does. theyre both excellent games but if you wanted to weigh in which of the two you should buy, then the trophy support would naturally sway people to buy RB over GH. Trophies wont stop me from buying a good game but if theres a choice then i would have to choose RB over GH as well.
This is another reason ppl are forgetting about guitar hero and moving to rockband. guitar hero is still awesome either way
I was a bit disappointed to find out GHWT wasn’t going to have trophies, but it’s the song studio that has swayed me to go out and get it. That gives it a possible infinate amount of songs, as opposed to just ones that are released on the disc and PSN. Although rock band will have trophy support, I feel that the Studio will keep me playing longer than trophies would!
