Tecmo clarified the details surrounding the release of Ninja Gaiden port from Xbox. According to Tecmo, the game is not mere a port, but vastly improved version of the 2005 hit. The game will feature new backgrounds, enemies, characters, animations, and textures. Along with these improvements, the game will run at 60 FPS at 720p resolution.

The improvements don?t merely stop at superficial level. The game will feature three new chapters with more difficult mode. The most important difference will be the entirely new playable character, Rachel. Rachel will have completely new back story and missions. Also, she will have distinct attack moves and animations.

If you have already purchased and played this game for your Xbox, I?m not sure if it is worth dropping $50-$60 dollars for new character and prettier graphic. But, if you haven?t played the original game like my self, this should be an interesting title to pick up. And, it?s Ninja Gaiden. Nuff said.
