A woman from Utah has put her husband up for sale on online-only classifieds site Craigslist having grown tired of his addiction to Modern Warfare 3. Only in America…

According to a report by The Salt Lake Tribune, Alyse Baddley listed her 22-year-old hubby Kyle because he has been engrossed in Activision’s first-person shooter since returning home from serving the U.S. military in Afghanistan. “One day I told him: ‘I am going to post you on Craigslist, you know’” she told the Herald Journal of Logan, and after a ‘gentle nudge’ from her sympathetic mother-in-law the young lady did as she threatened.

Of course, Alyse’s willingness to flog her fella was published only in jest, but even so her advertisement received many responses – some requesting photographs, some expressing genuine concern for their marriage, and one offering to trade him for a bag of Skittles.

Mr Baddley, who successfully finished the game within a few days, was amused by the ordeal:

“I love my wife. She supported me when I got the game. We stayed until midnight to get the game when it first came out […] It’s just funny.”
