Is Sony being attacked right now?
According to the Twitter page belonging to LulzSec, an assembly of hackers that recently accepted responsibility for meddling with Sony BMG’s Japanese website, there may be another hack happening as I type.
The message, posted one hour ago, reads:
“Hey @Sony, you know we’re making off with a bunch of your internal stuff right now and you haven’t even noticed? Slow and steady, guys.”
A bogus joke, or a very real threat? Moreover, is LulzSec the same group behind the PSN hack, and if so are they planning to bring the network down again? We can only speculate at this moment in time, but if a previous tweet from the malicious group is anything to go by "this is the beginning of the end for Sony".

The best hackers are usually those who aren't attention whores, this guy however seems to be like geohot, in the sense that they are taunting and bragging for attention. I doubt these are the guys that hacked psn, we didn't start hearing about them until recently. And no one would be stupid enough to claim to be stealing from sony while all of the intense investigations are still happening. These are just some random hackers, building off the momentum of recent hype, apparently even hackers have "hipsters" in their society.
OK, I'm not making any accusations here but the only people I see this helping is Microsoft. I wouldn't be suprised if they are behind this. Just like a certain anti-virus company that shall remain nameless that made that contest to infect Apple computers a couple of years back. The new game...screw up the competition through hacking. That would be right up their ally I beleive.
Call me a cynic but I agree. I know of the said anti-virus company scandal to which you refer, and maybe history is repeating itself.

Certainly not! Are you suggesting that *obvious suspect not named, out of decency* might try to underhandedly and illegally increase their monopoly? Unheard of! Well... except for with governments, economies, religions and the intarwebs.
This hacker nonsence is getting absurd. I don't see why they can't just let it be. They need to stop f*+"ing with Sony and get a life already. They're indirectly affecting everyone's enjoyment of PS3 just because they've nothing better to do.
I agree. This is great genius going to waste. Stop attacking video game companies and go after government and corporate injustice and cruelty.
