Five Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer classes that might help you raise your game

Building a Call of Duty custom class is comparable to buying a new Smartphone; whatever your choice, it needs to serve its purpose adequately. You have to feel comfortable using it around others, and it's got to reflect your personality and style too. Although I very much doubt my Samsung Galaxy S will help me nail an unsuspecting noob from 100 feet away, you can see where I’m going here.
You wouldn’t buy a handset without doing your research, testing various models in-store, and picking a tariff that provides the right balance of minutes, texts and broadband allowance, would you? Yet so many players customise their Call of Duty multiplayer loadouts with perks that don’t complement their choice of firearm, or high-end Killstreaks that require a number of kills their playing style won’t ever allow them to achieve.
After the jump we’ve listed five classes that have proven to be effective in most matches. We appreciate that not everyone is going to agree with our preferences, but if nothing else we hope that they’ll inspire you to review your current setups and identify where they can be optimised.

oh,, btw when you get a uav,, throw as many flash bombs as possible, and let ur team mates do the work,, you will easly get a assist=kill kill=carepackage carepackage=beastchoppers distroy!!!
Primary: Scar-L
Attachment: Thermal Sight
Proficiency: Kick
Secondary: Launcher or Machine Pistol (Your Preference)
Lethal: Bouncing Betty
Tactical: EMP Grenade
Perk 1: Blind Eye
Perk 2: Assasin
Perk 3: Stalker
I use this class and because of the Scar-L's non-existant recoil adding Kick will make that Thermal Sight stay on target with sustained fire.
primary: Scar-L
attachments: silencer, extended mags (if you have it)
proficiency: attachments, kick (if you dont have extended mags)
secondary: whatever you like ( im usually picky but i usually stick to fmg9 akimbo but you rarely use them or mp9 silencer because it is a very good secondary weapon)
lethal: semtex ( or frag)
tactical: flash grenades (they are better than concussions) or portable radar (very good for this class)
perk 1: scavenger (the reload isnt slow or too quick its just right and you need ammo to rack up the kills)
perk 2: assassin (very stealthy but rush a little with this class)
perk 3: stalker (i recently had marksman but everyone says that stalker with the scar-l is beast so i tried it out and it is really good but if you want try out marksman first if you like)
strike package specialist:1. sleight of hand (to reload faster or you can pick quickdraw if your fine with the reload)
2. quickdraw to aim faster ( i usually put quickdraw first but if your trying this class out for the first time try it with quickdraw first and get use to the reload but if you dont hae extended mags pick sleight of hand first if you have extended mags dont reload after every kill)
3. dead silence PRO or blind eye (i am very unsure on what to pick for this one but if you have dead silence PRO pick it so when you jump off a building you wont get hurt and you dont get heard or blind eye to be safe from air support but not usually reccomended)
please give this class a try and if you play on playstation message me my gamer tag is gloriny
tell me if this class is good for you and if your having problems with it just message me and i can give you some tips my gamer tag is gloriny with no caps just how its spelled.
Thank you
I HAD SEX WITH YOUR MOTHERS VIGINA
your name must be richard I was wondering why
everyone was calling you DICK !
1v1 ME YOU SUCK, GET A LIFE
IAM LMFAO AT U
yall are retarded, you shouldn't put a thermal on a sniper rifle unless you are playing modern warfare 2. put this on
L118A with extended mags/heartbeat sensor/Kick/Impact
Magnum/Desert Eagle/MP412/ akimbo
claymore/C4
portable radar
Sleight of hand/blind eye
quickdraw
dead silence
Fuck tards :]
dude noobs use heartbeat sensor, i bet it gets u killed easily because you are more focused in it that in the game
I haven't even used any claymores yet. I think I will :)
Oh yeah...↓↓↓↓↓
Deathstreak: Personal Choce
Assult Package: Predater Missle (5)
Cobra (7) And AH-6 Overwatch (9)
Stack them..
Get the pred, Get about a kill or two, get your cobra and hide in a corner Till you get your A-H6.
Strategy is reality, (hey , that rhymed)
And its your fault if you choose not to choose the right killstreaks, and pick Osprey gunner if you average 18 deaths a game.
Primary: Scar-L
Attachment: Silencer.
Profiecency: (whichever one rudeces kick when shot at, I Forgot)
My reason is because the Scar-L has barely any kick at all, but when you're getting shot to crap, you stay stable.
Secondary: Scorpion/MP-9 w/ silencer.
Tier 1 perk: Sleight of hand Pro
(Better reload time, so i can jump right back in the shooting)
Tier 2 perk: Assasin Pro
(no EMP or counter UAV affection, no red name, And no rader on uav.)
Tier 3 Perk: Steady aim
(Makes the Scar-L unstopabable.)
Lethel:Claymore or semtex
Tactical:Flash
But, The best Class, Or the best damage, Wont make a difference, Unless you have the #1 Skill in COD.
Awareness. You need to use everything. Your Lethel, Tactical, And Map aren't there for they're health. I look at my mini map about as much as my cross-hairs. If i know someones around the corner, I Flash. They wont know whats coming.
If im out of them, I turn around the corner and hit the floor. Most people have their crosshairs at about the chest, And if you go prone, They'll have to re-adjust while your already aiming at they're head.
And another thing, You need to get good with the sticks.
Aiming at the head = Dead. If you aim at they're legs, Your bound to die, If you take the extra millseconds to adjust BEFORE you shoot, It will py off. You needskill to wield a gun. Not jjust a gun to shoot.
Bit late i know but...
Roaming Sniper
Primary: RSASS + silencer
Weapon Proficiency: Speed
Secondary: MP9 + silencer (Swap with any dropped silenced SMG / AR at first opportunity)
Lethal: Claymore
Tactical: Portable Radar (Smoke maybe for objective)
Perk 1: Scavenger Pro
Perk 2: Assassin Pro
Perk 3: Dead Silence Pro
Assault Strike: Predator, Helicopter, Pavelow
Rubbish for small urban maps, pretty good for everything else, amazing if ghilli suit works for the map. Great for flanking / getting behind opposing team. Use smoke if objective like sabotage. Make sure to drop MP9 as soon as a decent silenced weapon shows up, and always switch to it when moving, sniper only when covering / at a distance to target.
Also as above but...
Primary: MK14 + silencer + red dot
Weapon Proficiency: Attachments
Secondary: MP9 + silencer
Perk 1: Blind-Eye Pro
For smaller maps and when the sniper class above isnt working.
Hmm... Good Rushing Class
Primary: Mp7 w/ Extended Mag & Silencer
Secondary: FMG9 Akimbo or Silenced
Weapon Proficiency: 2 Attachments
Lethal: Semtex
Tactical: Stun Grenade
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro (Quicker Reloads/Faster Weapon Swap)
Perk 2: Quickdraw Pro (Faster ADS/Quicker Grenade Toss)
Perk 3: Stalker or Steady Aim (Personal Preference)
Killstreaks : Assault: Predator Missile, Attack Helicopter, Pave Low
or
Specialist: Scavenger, Assassin, Dead Silence
A nice rushing class with a gun with virtually no recoil.
A secondary with the fastest fire rate (Akimbo)
Killstreak Stacking made easy or Specialist for the MOAB Seekers.
Does anyone know a good class AGAINST campers?
EVERY game i go in there is atleast 1 camper and i'm getting really annoyed with it....
Maybe it's just me but here is a few class that kicks camper butt!
1) Primary: favorite high power a.r. w/ heartbeat sensor and noob tube and attachment spec.
secondary: fav shotgun preferably striker or aa-12 attachments up too you as well as spec.
semtex
concussion grenades
blind eye
overkill
stalker
Summary: use concussions to stun enemys in a room, enter with shotgun and quickly clear the room. Semtex and noobtube used to blow out small rooms. use heartbeat sensor to check for campers(see them before they see you) blindeye keeps you off uav and portable radar.
Also works for breaching large clumped in rooms
well these camper r trying to keep the deaths low while u idiots running out in the feild think ur undestructable so therefore the "camper is trying to stay alive because of ur mistakes so it the other way around.. is there a class that can teach idiots how to play and try to stay live the game. PLUS 90% OF CAMPER HAVE KILLS HIGHER THAN DEATH SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL U... CAMPER R TRYING TO WIN AS A TEEEAAMM!!! NOT SOLO LIKE U IDIOTS!!
I see your point, but it doesn't make it fun for people who are playing the game their way and get blow to bits by a shotgun the second they enter a building. And no, campers camp to get more kills, not fewer deaths and to boost their xp to unlock everything humanly possible, it's a good way to get kills with no skill at all, for COD strategy is pointless, it's basically all rush, if you whant strategy try battlefield. And how are they playing as a team? Their team runs around while they sit alone, in a building, ALONE boosting THEIR kills.
mw3 isnt for playing as a team, battlefield is
Sorry, but I'm inclined to disagree with this. In my experience campers are often out for themselves. I've played so many games where the opposition has lost because one or two players refused to get involved in order to stay alive. Winning involves getting kills or completing objectives - neither of which can be done by sitting in the shadows hoping for someone to run past.
At time of writing my K/D is 2.19. My win ratio is about 4.5. Two days ago I went 30-5 on Dome rushing with the MP7. Last night I went 22-1 on Carbon sniping (which anyone who has tried it will know isn't easy), and 20-3 on Arkaden with an unsilenced AK-47. I achieved this by playing maps with appropriate classes, taking advantage of choke points, watching my teammates' movements and covering their blind spots. Tell me, which sounds more like trying to win as a team, the above, or cowering in a corner all game? More to the point, which sounds more fun?
I know what my answer would be...
Partially agree. But 99% of the time 'Camper' is chucked about as an insult by butthurt retards with zero concept of cover, tactical holding of positions or self preservation.
A camper ISNT someone who refuses to run around in the open with the situational awareness of helen keller, running straight into enemy fire, and jumping infront of multiple enemies like free meat begging to be shot. This playing style is known as RUBBISH or RETARDED and is probably more detrimental to the team than camping is.
A camper IS someone who picks his spot and sits there until he gets shot, then runs straight back after respawn. He doesnt move even when he know his team needs assistance / cover / a distraction.
The idea of the game is to not die.
Yes, running around without clue, direction or awareness can be detrimental to victory, but sitting in one spot for the entire match, failing to support your team or contribute to winning, is entirely unhelpful. Playing in this manner is not tactical or skillful, it's cowardly.
Before you think I'm just being argumentative, I used to be the world's worst camper. I was more concerned with my K/D ratio than I was backing teammates up, and it wasn't until Modern Warfare 2 that I realised how pathetic my playing style was. Now, I'm an effective defensive player; I occupy not one spot but an entire territory close to where the action is - making sure my squad has constant support without making myself an easy target, and because I'm constantly on the move I'm hard to locate for revenge kills.
My K/D ratio on MW3 is currently 2.28. My win ratio - the ratio that actually matters - is 4.05. Enough said.
Tell me, as a camper how do you capture flags or Domination points? How do you follow the match momentum of Team Defender? How do you collect dog tags in Kill Confirmed, or plant/defuse bombs in Demolition or Sabotage? Because by my reckoning, your 'strategy' doesn't permit you to do any of those things, and that makes you detrimental to the team.
The primary objective in CoD is to have fun. The secondary objective however is to win, and if you choose to hide in one spot all game hoping for easy kills while your team gets owned for being outnumbered you deserve to be condemned for it.
Sorry if ive misunderstand you, but you seem to be saying the exact same thing i did while dressing it up as an contrary position.
My main point was that most people use the term 'Camper' as an insult to players who refuse to jump in front of their bullets, which i have no sympathy for at all. They should just learn to play better.
USUK GET AT ME UMAD
Ah, I see. Yes, it appears I have misunderstood your comment, and for that I apologise. I thought you were defending camping - got on my soap box a little there didn't I? Lol.
I do get why people start off camping, as everything's new and they're just trying to get their bearings. However, people who continue to use this 'strategy' having clocked days worth of gameplay time are ridiculous. Still, I don't mind people adopting this play style, because if there's one thing I'm good at it's hunting campers. I might die once or twice getting to them, but I always get my mark.
That shut him up! :D
Primary: ACR 6.8 w/ Silencer
Weapon Proficiency: Kick
Secondary: Stinger
Lethal: Throwing Knife
Tactical: Smoke Grenade
Perk 1: Blind Eye Pro (for invisibility to air support / extra damage to air support)
Perk 2: Assassin Pro (for invisibility to radar / no crosshair when targeted)
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro (for extra ADS accuracy / weapon ready faster after sprinting)
Killstreaks: Support Strike: UAV(3), Recon Drone(10), Juggernaut Recon (18)
Deathstreak: Final Stand
My Personal Loadout is:
Weapon:P90
Attachment:Rapid fire
Proficiency: Kick
Secondary: MP9 Silencer (almost standard)
Lethal: Frag Grenade (For room clearing)
Tactical: Stun Grenade (For back up room clearing)
Perk 1:Sleight of Hand Pro (almost a necessity with rapid fire)
Perk 2:Quickdraw Pro (for faster grenade recovery and CQC)
Perk 3:Steady Aim Pro (for those unexpected enemies)
Killstreak: Support Strike : UAV/CUAV/AUAV (never get suprised(unless they have assassin))
Deathstreak:Final Stand(if ur skilled/lucky enough to survive its ideal)
Ump.45 silencer, rapid fire.
Skorpian
Blind eye
Assassin pro
Stalker
Streaks: your choice after you try the class.
Very useful... but every class? even the aggressive class? Claymores are ace but seems that there is an over-reliance here...
Perhaps you're right. In practice we found these to be very low-maintenance methods of earning kills in high traffic areas. That said, Weapons Free and Freerunner in particular would benefit from having a Semtex equipped to dispatch campers.
At the end of the day, these classes are effective as detailed, but can be tailored appropriately to suit individual playing styles. Case in point, my take on Spec Ops is as follows:
Primary: Type 95 with RDS & Rapid Fire
Weapon Proficiency: Attachments
Secondary: MP9 with Extended Mags
Lethal: Claymore
Tactical: Flashbang
Perk 1: Recon Pro (explosion damage paint targets / bullet damage paint targets)
Perk 2: Hardline Pro (for quicker Killstreaks / Deathstreaks)
Perk 3: Sitrep Pro (to highlight enemy explosives & equipment / louder enemy footsteps)
Killstreaks: Support Strike: UAV (4), Ballistic Vests (5), Advanced UAV (12)
It's not vastly different, but the minor tweaks to perks, attachments, proficiencies and Killstreaks suit my defensive style better. It's all about preference.
i have to agree too ump45 laser nice, small just right quick reload very good gun all round if i was in war id have this in my selection 4 sure, however were all gunna have different views ways we play the game and the weapons we use and the ways we use them..
my fav weapn
UMP45 laser sight and kick
ACR silencer, FMG9 akimbo. SoH, assassin, stalker or steady aim (preference). Specialist package. 2: quickdraw. 4: scavenger. 6: blast shield. All you'll ever need.
How are you going to run a claymore on every single class? That is the gayest noobest thing i have ever seen. Grenades are a huge part of strategy and a huge part of the game.
'Noobest'? That's a new one...
Dude, read the post - not everyone is going to agree with these setups, they're a guide. Plus, Claymores are one of the best lethal options available. Drop them, move on - if you're smart with your placement, guaranteed kill every time. Now quit hating
haaah easy kikA$$ class right here
if you die ALOT and love killstreaks get this
ACR.6.8 red dot, kick
g18 exended mags
recon pro
hardline
steady aim
assalt-uav-carepackage-preditor missle
death streak---martyrbomb
the reason this is soo kikass is that, say you die alot, death streak give a u bomb witch can kill the person if there close,, then you have to kill 1 other person for UAV the care package,, will gives you sumthing ALWAYS better, since you die alot, you will probly resive alot of carepackages,, gold acr all the way,, oh and G18,, is good for super close ranger just aim be4 going around corners and sprey that Fux out of em,, this class is beast
