This was funny, but not "mind-blowing-laugh-my-ass-off-bust-a-gut" funny, as one might be lead to believe. Just a nice little chuckle to brighten my day and make the game more enjoyable.

Okay, so I've never played Battlefield 3, so I was worried I wouldn't get the funny. However, a guy jumping on a UAV and flying away when surrounded is hilarious no matter the context.
I think it's funny when you get brief moments of non-violence in games where your primary goal is to cause as much as possible.
Fake. There's no way people would be that calm and would just play around with that in this game.
I'm calling it. This is completely staged, probably by friends who got split up into different teams during instant queue.

I do this all the time whether it would be fps or fighting games, you will always have those one not serious in for a good laugh. I've spent numerous rounds in sf just taunting and running around or call of duty where everyone just teabags or spins around. its good to see there re others out there like me.
its the fact that a enemy turned around and seen 3 guys who could kill him at anytime, and just stand there like its no big deal. usually you get those try hards that will turn around and freak out.

Okay, for those of us who don't play BF3, can somebody walk us through what happened? I mean, it's obvious they toyed with him, but what happened to make this humorous?
basically, this is an fps game and normally people would freak out and try to kill the people behind him because well, that the point. but he decided (im just inferring) that he knew he would die if he tried so they just had some fun. He tried to escape using the MAV which is a UAV which is not widely known to most players that you can do so. It was just for laughs and no it was not a set up to all other people, check out his channel on youtube and stop being such try-hards. that just means you only try to do good even if your not having fun.

I think the whole point of this video is that the guy didn't know he was cornered by 3 enemies...most people would have just started shooting, but no, he decided to go out with a bang...literally.
