Codemasters releases Colin McRae Vision Charity Pack for DiRT 3

If you’ve been wondering what the DLC forecast might be for Codemasters’ brilliant new rally racer, we can assure you that the British development house has big plans, from car packs to new tracks... but there’s one add-on the sneaky so-and-sos neglected to tell us about: the Colin McRae Vision Charity Pack.
The Colin McRae Vision Charity Pack features the iconic 1970s Ford Escort Mk II made famous by the McRae himself, complete with five liveries. It marks the first in a series of downloadable content packages to be released on a weekly basis, and all profits go to support the charity’s current and future projects.
Information about the content and release dates for forthcoming DLC will be made available at twitter.com/dirt3game and facebook.com/dirt3game.
Codemasters also released the final DiRT 3 developer diary today. The video features Ken Block, Kris Meeke, WRC driver Mikko Hirovonen and key development staff recalling their own memories of the late, great Colin McRae, and takes viewers behind the scenes at Battersea Power Station, the setting of Ken Block’s latest Gymkhana video ‘DiRT 3 Battersea’. The developer diary can be found at www.youtube.com/dirt3game.
The Colin McRae Vision Charity Pack is available now for Xbox 360, and would be for PlayStation 3 were it not for the ongoing security issues affecting the PlayStation Network. However, it will be added to the PlayStation Store’s catalogue once normal service resumes, and will be priced at £1.19 / €1.49 / $ 1.99 respectively.
