The great Cliff Bleszinski, Design Director of Epic Games, has publically commended Naughty Dog on the success of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception having read a plethora of positive reviews that hit the web during the last 24 hours.

‘Cliffy B’, as he’s also known, Tweeted the following this morning:

“Gratz to @Naughty_Dog on the OUTSTANDING #uncharted3 reviews. As if we ever doubted y’all. :)”

Coming from the man behind Gears of War, Xbox's own hugely popular third-person shooter series, that’s a big compliment. The smiley's a nice touch too.

Naturally, the folk at ND are overjoyed by the write-ups published so far, and rightly so. The game’s average score on Metacritic currently sits at 94%, earning a well-deserved spot among the PlayStation 3's best titles.

Uncharted 3 is scheduled for release on November 1st in the United States, and November 2nd in Europe. Feel free to join us in being giddy with anticipation.
