New Tomb Raider Game... Sort of
Crystal Dynamics, makers of the last three Tomb Raider games, in an attempt to revive the classic series, has over the weekend announced a new project in the Lara Croft canon called Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Although the new game is minus the ‘Tomb Raider‘ in the title, it still involves the tried and true formula of our heroine, exotic locals and some serious platforming included.Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, however, will be different from the more recent entries in the series in a few key ways. First, it will only be released digitally, meaning it could be a possible small PSN title. Also different from the norm is the fixed camera, giving the player just one view for the whole game. And, oh yeah, the game is co-op too!
So what do you think of this? A good change for the series? Leave comments below.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is due out in the Summer of 2010.

OK. the last few Tomb Raider tittles were not very good and kind of tedious to play. I beleive this game is going to be a big disapointment, yet again. Being a huge fan of the first instalations on The Tomb Raider franchise, I feel they should quit now and move on to new and bigger things.
I don't see how a fixed camera angle could be good for the series.
