What a surprise bomb from a Sony. For years we thought the controller had the boomerang design to it but to keep it retro is very gutsy move by Sony. More like shock and awe because this controller has 6 degrees of motion sensor known as “Six Axis Sensing System”. The controller looks very similar to PS2 Dual Shock but it comes with Blue tooth technology and has wireless feature as well has USB wire to recharge the controller for later use. As far as vibration goes here is what Sony said in a conference: The press release stated that, “Pursuant to the introduction of this new six-axis sensing system, the vibration feature that is currently available on DUALSHOCK and DUALSHOCK 2 controllers for PlayStation and PlayStation 2, will be removed from the new PS3 controller as vibration itself interferes with information detected by the sensor.” It seems like the PS3 controller will function closely that of Nintendo Wii”s controller; Controller will have more role instead of button meshing.
