New Final Fantasy XIII Trailer

Final Fantasy 13

Square Enix has released some new media for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 13, due to release in March. The trailer showcases some good voice acting and some phenomenal cut-scenes packed with emotion. The only downside to the trailer is the music in the background, it doesn't fit with the rest of the trailer. Let us know what you think in the comment section.

The music does flow well during the last min of the trailer, but that's about it.

I'm with Anti Flame on the music. Way too pop. And since when have FF games have lyrics like those? Maybe a few choir bits here and there but not so....obvious.

i agree with u, FF7 was the best and had an unbeatable materia system. but judging by the look of this trailer and others spread across the internet, it seems that random battles are not so random anymore, and that its possible to encounter the enemies before the actual fight has begun. The actual battle system seems a bit... 'un-final fantasy like' and that it is possible to move around in the battle itself, and to me, i think that has ruined it

I'm kind of with you but kind of not. I did like the old battle system more than I liked the battle system of FF10-2 but I did find that FF12 was enjoyable. FF7 was my fav. though. No other mechanic they have come up with (as far as I know) can compare to the materia system. Still, if this battle system isn't too similar to 10-2's then I will be fine with it.

im a big fan of final fantasy, and i know that games have grown so much better in quality but i must admit, after FFX, the battle system went completely downhill, i want square enix to bring the old system back, who's with me?

The song in the background is the official song of FFXIII - perhaps a bit of a poor choice, but it works with some parts, it's just a bit too pop for my liking....
