Modern Warfare 2 PC hacks hit consoles
People continue to ask me why I, a Modern Warfare 2 veteran, am choosing to abandon all I know and convert to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 when it launches on March 5th (aside from the fact it's an excellent title, of course). In light of today’s post, perhaps their relentless probing will cease.
Infinity Ward’s unbelievably addictive first-person shooter has unfortunately been subject to multiple multiplayer hacks, glitches and exploits since it hit the market in November last year. Little over a week ago Glitcher posted a video showing some new PC-specific bugs in action that allowed for surreal and unbalanced online gameplay. Such glitches have already reached the Xbox 360, and it is feared the PS3 will be next.
Mods that have been witnessed to date include:
- God Mode (invincibility)
- Wall Hack (see players through geography)
- Jump Height (higher jumps)
- Gold Desert Eagle (CoD4’s Gold Desert Eagle)
- No Recoil
- Unlimited Ammo
- Instant AC-130 (players spawn with an AC-130 killstreak)
- Every Perk (have all perks in use at once)
- Opposition has NO Perks
- Opposition cannot jump

There are few hackers on ps3.all the hackers have an xbox360. i have only seen 2 or 3 hackers on the ps3
this is so stupid there was this guy on mw2 today that had infinity killstreaks and infinity ward doesnt give a god damn thats why i went to play older call of dutys because there's less glitchers on them and thats why i went back to halo 3 yes i know i cant believe it the only reason im on halo 3 is because bungie cares and when it happens they fix it oh and if you guys wanna play xbox360 with me add me K1ng 0f canada

That kid just hacked the PS3 recently so I doubt PS3 is safe from hackers for long. Wallhacking on PC is BAD lately. I swear every time I play now I catch someone wallhacking by watching killcams when I suspect foul play.

ps3 looks safe for now guess I'll jump on battlefield bad company as well if ps3 gets like xbox are grab mass effect 2 for pc
If MW2 was hacked.. what makes you think MAG or BC2 are immune?
This is why I love MAG. No cheating, whatsoever, and balanced online play that never disappoints. And the maps - huge, detailed environments that really make you feel small, but immersed.
i simply din't like mw2s online, far to much camping for me, and i can't even get a trade for a 9 month old game on craigslist, LOL.
i made a post (and i live in the boston area, lots of people here) and said i would accept $40,red faction guerilla, MAG, or dragon age origins, (ps3 versions) no one wanted it.
anyone ever caught using an exploit or anything of that nature should have there systems 100% banned from any sort of online play, not there PSN, or XBLA but the entire flipping system!!! Start making some examples of people. I mean honestly, people break the ToS every damn day on any system, lets start taking some action damn it! (P.S. I wont even start on auto aim programs for the PC, the only reason why I will never play a FPS on my PC again.)
I also have moved back to playing other titles during my freetimes. Too many cheaters on MD2 it's making it so hard to appreciate the game play.
